Abstract

This article reviews the challenges that higher and university nursing education faced during the COVID-19 pandemic and analyzes its future implications for both the field of professional education and labor market insertion. Based on the voices of students, teachers, recent graduates, and officials, the curricular, pedagogical, and didactic adaptation strategies implemented in the context of the health crisis in Argentina are identified. The results obtained stem from the construction and data processing of three federal interdisciplinary research projects funded by the National Agency for the Promotion of Research, Technological Development and Innovation of the Argentine Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation from 2020 to 2023. Semi-structured surveys and interviews were conducted, and periodic press and legislation were surveyed, which is the input that makes up the analytical corpus of this work.
