The Revista Ciencias y Humanidades (ISSN 2500-784X web) is a scientific journal published semiannually (January-June / July-December), serving as a platform for the scientific dissemination of the Center for Studies in Sciences and Humanities, an entity affiliated with the Jorge Robledo Educational Corporation, a funding institution, in Medellín, Colombia. One of the journal's main objectives is the publication of review and research articles, reviews, transcriptions, translations, and, in general, discussions on topics related to social and human sciences.
The Revista Ciencias y Humanidades, like the Center for Studies in Sciences and Humanities, has as its primary mission the contribution to the construction of social and human knowledge, seeking to understand the historical, political, sociological, etc., dimensions of the social phenomena and problems that develop in the present.
The journal aims to disseminate academic material of an investigative nature related to social and human disciplines, covering areas such as Education and Pedagogy, History, Anthropology and Ethnography, Sociology, Psychology, Linguistics, Literary Analysis and Criticism, Economics, Politics, Human Geography, Psychoanalysis, Philosophy, Aesthetics, and the Arts.
Its content is aimed at students and professionals dedicated to research or interested in the results of investigations in the aforementioned disciplines. The articles published in this journal are entirely unpublished. The Revista Ciencias y Humanidades does not impose any specific ideological stance or line on its authors.
